About Medala
Medala is a technology company that develops and operates digital platforms for healthcare ecosystems. Our systems enable coordination between patients, healthcare providers, pharmacies, and partners through connected digital solutions.
No. Medala does not provide medical services, diagnosis, or treatment. All healthcare services accessed through platforms powered by Medala are delivered by licensed healthcare professionals and partner institutions. Medala’s role is to provide and maintain the technology platform that enables these interactions.
The GOBSOL App is a digital healthcare platform implemented as part of the Government of Laguna’s healthcare programs. It enables citizens to access services such as consultations and medicine fulfillment through participating healthcare providers and facilities.
Registration & Access
Certain services available through the GOBSOL App are provided free of charge under government programs, subject to eligibility and availability. These services are administered by the Government of Laguna and fulfilled by its accredited healthcare providers and facilities.

Orders placed before 3:00 PM → Delivered within the same day
Orders placed after 3:00 PM → Delivered the following day
Pick-up is done through designated Medala Pick-up Stations or Mobile Botikas.

Yes. Pick-up is completely free.
Mobile Botika / Pick-up Station
Medala Mobile Botikas are moving pick-up stations with scheduled stops in select areas.
They allow users to conveniently claim their prepaid medicine orders closer to their location as an alternative to home delivery.
No. Orders must first be placed online through Medala.
The Mobile Botika is for pick-up only and does not function as a walk-in pharmacy store.
Schedules and pick-up station announcements are posted through Medala PH’s official Facebook page.
Senior Citizen & PWD Discounts
To properly process discounts in compliance with Philippine regulations, Senior Citizen and PWD transactions are currently handled manually through Medala PH’s official Facebook Messenger channel.
Please send the following before ordering:
1. Valid Senior Citizen ID or PWD ID
2. Prescription (if required)
3. Name and quantity of medicines
4. Delivery address & Contact number
Once verified, our team will assist you with the discounted order and payment instructions.
We are currently implementing system enhancements to automate Senior Citizen and PWD discount computation within the app.
In the meantime, manual verification helps ensure:
- Proper application of discounts
- Compliance with Philippine regulations
- Accurate validation of eligible medicines and prescriptions
Qualified Senior Citizens and PWDs are entitled to:
- 20% discount
- VAT exemption - price online is already VAT exempt if applicable
on eligible medicines purchased for personal use, subject to applicable Philippine laws and regulations.
No. Not all pharmacy items qualify for Senior Citizen or PWD discounts.
Items that may not qualify include:
- Cosmetics
- Non-medicinal products
- General wellness items without prescription
- Food and beverages
- Other non-covered retail items

Refunds, Cancellations & Returns
Due to the nature of pharmaceutical products and for safety and quality control reasons, medicines are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable once processed or released by the partner pharmacy.
Please ensure that:
- Your order details are correct before checkout
- The medicines selected are accurate
- Delivery address and contact details are complete
In certain cases where:
- the medicine is unavailable,
-the order cannot be fulfilled,
- or the pharmacy is unable to process the order,
our support team will contact you and assist you with the appropriate next steps, including refund processing when applicable.
If the patient cancels the consultation or fails to appear on time for the scheduled consultation, the consultation fee is non-refundable.
We encourage users to carefully review their selected schedule before confirming the booking.
If the cancellation is due to the doctor or the consultation cannot proceed because of the provider, Medala will process a refund for the consultation fee.

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment channel used and verification requirements. Our support team will guide you throughout the process and provide updates accordingly.
